In this section, I provide information and examples of the operations within the prison system and how these specific tasks, obligations and responsibilities by correctional staff (custodial and not custodial - uniformed and non-uniformed) provide a safe environment for both correctional staff and inmates. The prison environment is very challenging for those that work within the confines of the prison walls and it is paramount that the individuals integrity is maintained without exception.
